“Spanish maritime legislation” to discussion

Employers representatives and various public and private entities representatives related to the maritime sector have the conviction that the new Navigation Law is an opportunity for internationally homologation.

The different sectors and interests integrated in the Spanish Maritime Cluster have their own points of view on certain aspirations for changes or modifications to the Spanish domestic legislation regulating them. Anyway, everyone agrees that we must use the opportunity provided by the wording of the new General Maritime Law for once and for all and homologate spanish rules to the European and international regulations.

At this meeting, which took place in the Conference Room of the School of Naval Architects of Madrid, have participated as speakers Manuel Carlier, General Manager of the National Association of Spanish Shipowners (ANAVE), Ramon Lopez Eady, General Manager of the Spanish Shipbuilders (UNINAVE), Javier Garat, General Secretary of the Confederation Spanish Fisheries (CEPESCA), Carlos San Lorenzo, Legal Adviser of the National Association of Marine (ANEN), Gabriel Sandoval, President of the Spanish Federation of Associations and Tourist Marinas and (FEAPDT), Eduardo Albors, partner in the law Albors, Galiano & Portals and Julio Fuentes, General Director Assistant for Legislative Ministry of Justice.
